  • Graduated from the University of Manchester, England with an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics in 1976


  • Trained with Arthur Andersen & Co. and was involved primarily in medium and large audit assignments


  • Admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1979 and is now a Fellow of that organization


  • Emigrated to Canada to join Price Waterhouse in Toronto in 1980


  • Joined their financial advisory services and insolvency department in early 1981


  • Obtained his Canadian CA in 1982 and in 1984 was admitted as a general member of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals ("CAIRP")


  • Made Partner and Senior Vice-President in 1989


  • Served on Price Waterhouse's troubled real estate task force in the early 1990s


  • A licensed Canadian Trustee in Bankruptcy


  • A CA designated specialist in insolvency and restructuring


  • Established the boutique insolvency and business assistance firm of A. John Page & Associates Inc. in 1994


  • Served on the Board of Examiners for the national CAIRP bankruptcy examination in 1995 and on the appeals board in 1996


  • Member of the Board of Directors of CAIRP since 2009

  • Member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals ("OAIRP") since 2000


  • Member of the Executive of OAIRP since 2003
