John Page represents the insolvency practitioner community on the Ontario Commercial List Users' Committee subcommittee that has drafted a number of model orders including the model CCAA Initial Order and the model National Receivership Order. John Page was appointed as Vice Chair of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals (CAIRP) at their annual conference in Charlevoix, Quebec in August 2011.

John Page chaired a panel on the Development and Implementation of Model Orders Across Canada at the 7th Annual Pan Canadian Insolvency Conference of the Canadian Bar Association on September 23, 2011 in Toronto.

John Page was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 2011. Fellowship honours CAs who have brought distinction to the CA profession. Less than 3% of Ontario CAs are Fellows.

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 2, 2011 at the Richmond Hill Golf Club in Ontario.

John Page acted as Master of Ceremonies at a half day conference entitled "Court Procedure, Protocols and Practice" run by the OAIRP on January 21, 2011 in Toronto.

John Page was appointed as the secretary/treasurer and a member of the executive of CAIRP at their annual conference in Kelowna, BC in August 2010.

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 2, 2010 at the Richmond Hill Golf Club in Ontario.

John Page spoke on "The Role of the Proposal Trustee and CCAA Monitor" at the Ontario Bar Association Institute 2010 Insolvency Law Program held in Toronto on February 16, 2010.

John Page co presented "An Introduction to Receiverships"in Toronto on January 20, 2010 as part of the Ontario Bar Association Insolvency Law YLD Passport Breakfast Seminar Series 2009-2010.

John Page was appointed to the Board of Directors of CAIRP on August 21, 2009.

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 10, 2009 at the Richmond Hill Golf Club in Ontario.

John Page is a co-presenter and panelist in the commercial portion of the CAIRP 2008 Web Forum on Insolvency Reform. The CAIRP Web Forum is a series of web-based seminars designed to bring interested members of the insolvency community up to speed on the new insolvency amendments.

We are pleased to announce that Colleen H. Delaney CA., CIRP, Trustee has joined A. John Page & Associates Inc. as a Senior Vice-President effective November 1, 2008. In addition to her insolvency/restructuring background whilst at Ernst & Young, Colleen brings valuable banking and international transaction experience to our practice.

John Page was the author of an article entitled "Model Orders: Filling a Need" that was published in "Rebuilding Success", the official magazine of the Canadian Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals in August 2008.

John Page was the prime author of the OAIRP submission on the draft Wage Earner Protection Plan Act (WEPPA) Regulations dated June 20, 2008

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 10, 2008 at Nobleton Lakes in Ontario. He was also a participant in a panel discussion on the status and use of model orders in Ontario and across Canada.

John Page was named President of the Ontario Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Professionals effective May 23, 2008.

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 12, 2007 at Nobleton Lakes in Ontario. He also chaired a panel discussion on the status and use of model orders in Ontario and across Canada.

John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP morning education seminar on Bill C-55 that was held on February 27, 2006.

John Page was the co-moderator of the 2005 CAIRP Insolvency and Restructuring Forum that was held on May 12, 2005 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP dinner and education program on Insolvency Law and Labour Relations that was held at the Albany Club in Toronto on April 7, 2005.

In November 2004 John Page was part of a panel discussing Environmental Issues at the OAIRP/OBA joint seminar on Legacy Costs in a Restructuring.
