John Page represents the insolvency practitioner community on the Ontario Commercial List Users' Committee subcommittee that has drafted a number of model orders including the Short Form and Long Form CCAA Orders and the model Receivership/Interim Receivership Order. A copy of all the model orders drafted by the subcommittee together with explanatory notes can be found on our Links page. The subcommittee is currently drafting a standard form Claims Bar Order. John Page co-hosted a joint OBA Insolvency Law Section /OAIRP dinner and education program entitled "An Evening with Registrar Nettie" on February 11, 2008 at the Albany Club in Toronto.

John Page was co-chair of a joint OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP dinner and education program entitled "Update on the Credit Markets and Impact on the Canadian Dollar - What's Happened, What are the Effects and Where is it Going" that was held at the Dominion Club in Toronto on November 21, 2007.

John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 12, 2007 at Nobleton Lakes in Ontario. He also chaired a panel discussion on the status and use of model orders in Ontario and across Canada.

John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP morning education seminar on Bill C-55 that was held on February 27, 2006.

John Page was the co-moderator of the 2005 CAIRP Insolvency and Restructuring Forum that was held on May 12, 2005 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.

John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP dinner and education program on Insolvency Law and Labour Relations that was held at the Albany Club in Toronto on April 7, 2005.

John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP dinner and education program on Creditor Committees that was held at the Albany Club in Toronto on February 24, 2005.

In November 2004 John Page was part of a panel discussing Environmental Issues at the OAIRP/OBA joint seminar on Legacy Costs in a Restructuring.

In October 2004 John Page was co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP dinner and education program on the Appellate View of Insolvency and Restructuring Proceedings in Ontario.

In November 2003 John Page was co-moderator of the joint OBA/OAIRP program event "An Evening with Registrar Sproat".
