John Page represents the insolvency practitioner community on the Ontario Commercial List Users' Committee subcommittee that has drafted a number of model orders including the Short Form and Long Form CCAA Orders and the model Receivership/Interim Receivership Order. A copy of all the model orders drafted by the subcommittee together with explanatory notes can be found on our Links page. The subcommittee is currently drafting a standard form Claims Bar Order. John Page was the co-program moderator of the Commercial List Users' Committee/OBA Insolvency Law Section/OAIRP morning education program that was held on June 12, 2007 at Nobleton Lakes in Ontario. He also chaired a panel discussion on the status and use of model orders in Ontario and across Canada.
John Page was the co-program coordinator of a joint OBA/OAIRP morning education seminar on Bill C-55 that was held on February 27, 2006.
John Page was the co-moderator of the 2005 CAIRP Insolvency and Restructuring Forum that was held on May 12, 2005 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
